Hi all
Hope you guys can help on a couple of questions. I asked the guy who does all the servicing etc. if he could change the actuator for the turbo which is making this horrible groaning noise when i turn the engine off (ref. the "my car is mooing" post that made so many of you so happy) and he has told me the actuator is only available as part of a new turbo and not separately, but he did say that he maybe able to source a "used" part but only by stripping down the turbo to aquire serial No.'s.
So, first question is: Does anyone know if the actuator can be sourced new and separately? and if not, can i get information regarding the turbo without stripping it down i.e. through engine No.'s etc.
Hope you guys can help as i am not at home with anything mechanical.
