Hey Guys, need some help/advice,my cooling fan does not kick in,temp gauge sits halfway up and dosent go any higher in general driving.
Only found out after service and timing belt change, when they where bleeding the coolant they realised it was not kicking in when it should.will not kick in either when the aircon is on.
Had 2 new tyres fitted and got them to run a diagnostic test and this is what they came back with.Any ideas please or any recommendations on who best to take it to get it it fixed.
Again thanks for any help/advice

You as it says need a auto electrician as there's too many possibilities for a amateur ranging to a simple broken wire to bcm or similar issues?
I would try pulling the relay and bridging the power feed( not signal feed) to output to fan terminals if that works then check the earth pin on the relay socket for ground then check switching signal feed, use mes to turn on

Hey John, the mechanic could push his tester into the relay and it would kick the fan into life, but when he took it out again it stopped,i did say to him so its a faulty relay but he said no,its not getting the signal to operate if that makes sense

It really is kind of cold for fan to kick in.
But... it could very easily be blown thermic fuse on the fañ. Looks like this. Test the continuity on the fuse. If blown, no continuity.
Easy way to test if everything is in order with the fan is by MES. There is 'Actuate' tab which include both fan speeds. Actuate those and check if fan is working.
