I have a 1995 Punto 90 ELX (1.6) that I want to change the coolant on. I have changed coolant before on many cars by just removing top & bottom radiator hoses etc and then refilling. I have read somewhere that after re-filling the system needs to be bled - can anyone confirm that this is correct and if so where are the bleed points?

Best to bleed the system with the car on a slope mate so that the header tank comes at least level with the back bleed screw where the heater matrix is. This is the only way I was able to get rid of a bad airlock (y)
