Hello! Slightly new to this forum. I bought a lovely Fiat panda active eco 1.1ltr a couple of months ago and posted regarding a techincal issue. That has since been fixed and the car sits at 42k miles at the time of posting this. Ive recently been getting a lot of inspriation online to convert my panda into a mini-sleeper/Camper. Would anyone have any good suggestions on the best & easiest way to do this?

Attached are images of the space and condition im currently working with and id love some input on how to make this as smooth as possible. (Also, apologies if this is in the wrong section, i was unsure where else to post)

Dms are open too!

Personally I just use a tent and airbed

Roof box tent, has also been done fine, be aware your pushing the max roof limit

This is brilliant, ill have to look at some dimensions. I would usually use a tent and airbed but the panda has been sat doing nothing since around march last year. Would be nice to do something with it

I think the moulded headrests were the biggest obstacle to getting a flat-ish sleeping surface. If using regularly as a camper I'd want to swap the front seats for ones with removable headrests.

An awning off the open boot hatch would be really useful in the mornings as a space tall enough to get changed. I've seen some temporary awnings, just a sheet with magnets to attach to the car.

Depends how much time you think you'd spend in the car as a camper. For me it was just a place to sleep. But I think I also prefer a tent :)
