hey all, i've put my HU from the punto in the rs turbo while i get a one for it. plays ok but can't get the amp or sub to work, not sure if it's the wiring on the HU lead? any ideas? thanks!

i know very little about ice lolits a panasonic
wires up are the standard speakers and 6x9s.
it works fine with those speakers but the amp/sub wont work.
right im still a little clouded.
you have wires running from the back of the HU to the amp and then the speaker cables from the amp to the speakers/sub?

does the amp power up? if not then obviously earth/positive/remote needs looking at.

not sure of the setup, was done when i bought it yesterday, i just plugged the 2 leads into the wire from my Hu off the punto
did you connect remote wire?

what ones that? sorry im not very good with sound systems, need to learn more
wire which turns on the amp, go take the stereo out and look for a loose wire hanging around behind stereo, usually blue or yellow, very thin wire.

yeh thats hooked up to the amp, not sure where it should go after that

so where abouts should it go? like where about on the HU
on your headunit, coming out the back, there should be a loose wire not included in the iso block, labeled remote, usually blue & white
right your not giving the info and TBH ive a feeling the amp isnt hooked up!
the amp needs RCA feeds from the headunit.
these are a pair of thick cables that go on the round connections on the amp(matching connections on the HU)
there is also a remote lead on the HU(usually blue) that hooks to the REM connection on the amp.
you need a power connection and ground connection on the amp as well
them speaker connections from the amp to the speaker(s)

thanks for that! im gunna have a go now, the amp was working with the blokes HU he had in
well id say its just the remote isnt connected then, look for it in that hole, should be there...
