Hi all,

I'm thinking about replacing my connect nav unit as it seems almost impossible to link and control my Ipod with the stereo. (and steering wheel controls) without the use of an FM transmitter.

I've searched the forum but can only find references relating to the CN+ unit and the standard CD unit.

I can see 2 holes at the front of the CN unit, and I'm assuming I can stick a metal shaft down each to release the mechanism....but is there anything attaching the stereo to the car (ie at the back)
I dont want to start pulling if i have to undo something first.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

exactly the same as the CN+. two metal nails would work (need to be long), then just unplug all the cables.

im starting to love the CN though. on two separate occasions proved more reliable and accurate than a personal sat-nav i had

FIAT use specialist keys - they are very long M4 thread bolts which screw in and progressively ease the catches off. To avoid damage to the unit or the car I'd pop down - I'm sure they'll let you borrow them for nothing!
