Anyone know why connect+ only recognises 77 tracks on a 200 track disc? (all tracks are in correct format) according to manual it should see up to 999. only started using mp3 in the last couple days so have very little experience,
Mines always been able to read all the tracks on my MP3's (180 is about max i've had) so i'm pretty sure your problem is in the format; the connect+ is a pretty limited mp3 players and will only play strandrd mp3 format so mke sure all your songs arn't in some other format. Also you could try re-burning the disc (though you probably have done that) and also i suggest you put all your songs through a program called mp3 gain wich will eliminate the crackle that appears in some songs and it will also normalize the volumes (it'll iron out the big volume differences between songs)
MP3s were burnt all at same time did one disc without folders and one without with the same results, a few of the songs were the wrong format but connect recognises that and message appears. tracks are appearing in order as burnt from 1 up to mid seventies which dicounts the format idea (I THINK)
Well your problem seem sto be a wierd one so before we start blaming the car i seggest you try a couple of things;
Try using another make of CD, i remember i once had a specific make of Cd that worked "irregularly", working sometimes, othars not, playing one song and saying it's unreadable the next time...
Also try downloading a few more song from the internet and add them to you Cd (if you havn't got room delete some of the ones that the connect wont play), if when you do this the number of songs that it'll read stays the same it must be the connect+ but if it varies it means that there is something funky with some of your songs format
