Technical Clutch squeak

Good evening. I picked up my 500C Callezione yesterday. There’s a terrible squeaking noise every time I use the clutch. Can anyone help please?

Could be the pedal is faulty, could be the master cylinder, the slave or the clutch itself. Hard to know without hearing or seeing anything.

What engine, year?
Is pedal sticking down?

If it's 1.2, I would try a bit of grease (not WD40) under the rubber boot of the slave cylinder. It's the most common cause of squeaks.

Most likely the clutch slave cylinder. Cheap and easy to fix. Listen by tge battery under the bonnet to confirm.

My money is on the clutch pedal pivot, where the spring hooks over the stay, or the clutch (electric sensor) switch. Give them a squirt of WD40, if the sound seems to be coming from inside the car... If that works for a while, then put a tiny blob of grease in the same place (spring hooks and stay, don't grease the switch) as it'll last longer.

Otherwise, the only other moving part that is unlubricated is the slave cylinder rod, where it presses into what should be a nylon cup in the clutch release arm.
