I have an issue with a 2010 Punto Evo. I have done so much work to this car but can’t get engine light off. The biggest job was changing the brake servo when the full pedal area had to come out.
The issue we now have is the computer is saying clutch sensor signal fault. I have replaced the sensor and recalibrated and still the fault returns.
When I recalibrate I can pump the clutch and no light comes on. I could even drive miles and nothing, but then when you turn car off for 5 mins and turn back over the fault is back.
The fault only seemed to come on when the pedal was travelling back as if it was coming too far forward so I taped the sensor back and cable tied it up but the fault still returns when you turn the engine off.
Anyone have any ideas. Is there any way to over ride this?
