Now EVAP solenoid needs to be further tested to have a clear answer about it. From your testing, so far we know it does not open and if that is the case, that's not good. Not good at all.
Does this mean you were using a different setting before? And are you now seeing changed values compared to before?Yes. I just connected to the third one down and graphed the results.
See attached
Also had a new error code come up on the body module.
No this is the setting I have always used.Does this mean you were using a different setting before? And are you now seeing changed values compared to before?
Ok.No this is the setting I have always used.
Thank you. So where would be best to start checking. This is also coming up with the fuel rich error. The second error is a CanBus error - no or missing ‘digital communication’ between the engine ECU and the car’s Body Control Computer — which is basically a set of electronic relays to turn things on and off. Again, more likely a low voltage or a damaged wire somewhere rather than a fault with the units themselves
I actually think about a month ago I actually did get a wheel speed sensor error appear on mes. I cleared it but it never came back till this week. So think that could be it then? And think it's the passenger side one.CanBus is a minefield that few if any really understand (I don’t!)
A good auto electrician with CanBus test gear is probably the only reliable (but expensive) way to resolve CanBus errors. But before that, a good inch-by-inch look at all the cables that can be seen, especially between the back of the glovebox (which is where the body control unit is - the small fuse box) and the engine ECU which is between the end of the engine and the side if the battery. Unplug each connection and check for obvious corrosion (white deposits) and for any pins that are bent. Also look at the coloured insulation on ea h little wire where it goes into the plugs - these can develop cracks in the insulation which then lets the wire corrode.
Ok - but it’s probably not the sensor - that has its own code. It’s an intermittent error in the connections somewhere. Harder to find. Don’t buy a new sensor.I actually think about a month ago I actually did get a wheel speed sensor error appear on mes. I cleared it but it never came back till this week. Thanks. This is the last error code I had a few months ago..Ok - but it’s probably not the sensor - that has its own code. It’s an intermittent error in the connections somewhere. Harder to find. Don’t buy a new sensor.
Exactly! I repeat, don't buy a new sensor!Don’t buy a new sensor.
And it went away. So can be ignored. The new errors messages can be ignored too. They are intermittent faults and haven't triggered a warning light - so ignore them. Also they are not affecting the engine in any way... but something else is... which does need to be sorted.Thanks. This is the last error code I had a few months ago..

Was that dealer upgrade there the attempt to make the E6 engine easier to drive/more power to pull away? (As mentioned a million posts ago)?Call fiat and find out what firmware should be installed
Or
Fill in your VIN number on the Mopar website
The firmware on you ECU is normally on a euro 5 IAW 9GF.TE not the IAW 9GF CF6 euro 6
View attachment 490128
This is the firmware on a same year 1.2 panda and the dealership upgrade version
However seeing as theres no data base to check I cannot be 100% sure what the original file should be

What is this about sorry?
