Seems to be more prevalent in higher ambient temperatures and/or in queuing traffic. Cannot see any physical obstructions on the pedal end of the mechanism or elsewhere in the footwell which would cause this.
When the problem happens, the clutch pedal seems not to want to return to "normal" height, and does not travel far enough to release the drive but if it does this, it's possible to get a foot under the pedal, and pull it upwards. After this manoeuvre it operates normally for some considerable time (days or weeks) and does disengage the clutch on demand, i.e. when the pedal is depressed.
Fluid level in the reservoirs is normal, and no evidence of fluid loss or leakage.
