Hello,
I have a problem with a fan on my GP sport 1.9JTD too. For a year long now.
First of all I have put ''cable shoes'' (correct expression?) instead of connectors on the electronic resistor and a fan. On all 6 wires - as some people were talking about bad loosing connections and melting connectors, and guessed that problem might be in connectors. So, now it is 100% tight connected with shoes and OK, but I still have problems.
I don't know which one is faulty, fan or electronic resistor with cooler screwed on a fan? Or maybe something third? When I move wires around fan sometimes it stops rotating but I can't say which wire as it is moving pretty much all together, at least a bit........
Another simptom is that the fan is sometimes not working from start of driving so I have to say my passenger to kick gently with a leg around fan.
At summer time I am always using temperature set to ''LO'', with full speed of fan, and sometimes when I think it is blowing OK, after 10min of driving it starts to blow even faster (not a lot faster, but senseable).
So I really have no idea what is joking with me here. Anyone can suggest something? I am guessing that somewhere the power connection is lost, but not outside, I think it can be some loosen soldering inside of the electronic resistor or soldering around terminals for cables.
I am just asking if someone can tell me what to try first, new fan or new resistor, if the problem is common?
