clattering brakes

Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys may know a solution to clattering front brake discs on a 1995 Uno Fire, I had the car for a while with no hassles whatsoever, the brakes the started clattering out of the blue, any help???

strip and clean,
putting a little silicone sealant ( or high TEMP. Grease) between the pistons and backing plate of the disc pad,
