I had some of those Dunlops on the tub. They were lethal in the wet, quite the nastiest tyre I've encountered. Binned and replaced by Uniroyal Rainsports.

Trouble with 13s is that there simply isn't much tyre choice at sensible money.

you can get NANKANG XR611 very cheap, original 165/55-found them through e-shop in slovakia-around 30 gbp

Don't know what the latest Nankangs are like: the earlier ones had a dreadful reputation. Target price for Uniroyals in 195/45/14 (they don't do a 13) is £35.

Well, it's the point I originally made. Again, to get decent rubber cheap you have to go to 14" 6J. You can get cheaper decent rubber by going to 15", but I'd not recommend it on a car with an 1108 engine, and it does raise other issues.

Just had this problem looking for tyres, can find loads in 195/45/14 but not 13's. Nice price with them too.
