Tuning cinq conversion

hi all im new to the scene

basically im hoping to buy a cheep 1994 cinq soon and turning it into a street sleeper and was just wondering which engine would be best to replace the standard one with?

i want it to go like s**t off a shovel once i have finished with it lol

as 1.4 16v doesnt sound like much but then agen cinq are small cars lol

is that the same engine out of the punto?

is it a fairly simple straight swap?

they only did one shape with very minor restyling early on

1991/2-98 production years

that would mean having a different subframe on the rear?

plus where would i be most likely to get a supercharged v8 from ?

anything would fit. As people say 1.4 16v would be a str swap but do require loads of knowledge about ECU

v8's are everywhere!!! Ive been offered a v12 to stick in mine,not doing it tho

the 1.8's are pretty hard to tune, so wouldnt be a good choice.

it wont fit either, need alot of cutting custom mounts etc.

Easiest one is probably the one out of the 1.4 16v Stilo. See foxyemx enormous post. (Almost a build manual.)

You will need an aftermarket ECU. Megasquirt is cheapest.

nope unless you mean the seicento which was its direct replacement, but that is obviously a different name
