I went to buy some new scales in Tesco earlier - tried the demo model out and they brought me in at 71kg.
Bought the new boxed ones, but when I got home, they are showing me as 74.1kg.
Ok - so something odd there, if we accept the first ones as correct (I don't think I can be up to 74 yet...), then it means the new ones are over reading.
However, I weigh one of my speakers (which is 9.5kg) and it shows on the scales as 8.1kg!!!!
What's going on? How can there be this much difference?
But if I just want to know if I'm going up or down in weight, does it actually matter - ie - will my current one just always be Xkg out, or is it more a percentage thing?
