In Spring 2001, returning from Holland via the tunnel, there was a security alert for stowaways. The queue was long and slow.
Being in a Seicento, the possibility of stowaways was small. A Customs Officer looked into the car, then waved us out of the queue and past everyone else, to board the next train, approximately 90 minutes earlier than the others in the same queue. The guy behind in his Volvo estate did not look happy about this. Love small cars.
