General Door check strap

Does anyone know if the front door check straps are handed, right and left.
Need a drivers side one and have seen a company on ebay advertising one stating it will fit either side.
,Im not so sure
Thoughts anyone please?

Does any have a diagram of the door parts in situ with their relevant part numbers?
I need to get hold of one of the splined headed bolts and the big cup style washer that hold the check strap mechanism to the door..
