From memory I believe there are only a few companies in the UK who actually form brake pads. Hardly any difference between pads unless you start buying the likes of green stuff.
I've just been quoted £90 to change my front brake pads on my 2.4 Stilo!!!!
That cant be right can it? Thought i'd do it myself so i took a trip to Halfords.... Oh no... "Sir we do not stock pads for your model, we can order them in though... £80!!"
Is it me or has everybody gone mad... maybe they all see me coming!
Desperate to get it done though... I'd pay up to £50 or even £60 but any more and i may as well do it myself (seen some on ebay for around £25-£30).
Any suggestions?

I had a quote for EBC a few months back for my 1,6 and that was £30 inc of front and rear i wouldnt think the 2.4 would be that much dearer
