Central Locking....Help!

Noticed a problem this morning with the central locking.

When I unlock the car it feels like you have to turn they key with more 'force' and the passenger door pin struggles a bit to pop up. (although it still works)

When you're in the car its easy to push the door pin down on the drivers side (which also locks the passenger door ok) but hard to pull it up.

So basically the cars easier to lock than to unlock!

As i said it works ok but will no doubt get worse.

Any idea? Is it the motor or a connection?

I'm thinking about getting remote central locking (and possibly also an alarm) fitted anyway so would this solve the problem?

Have you had the panels off to lubricate the mechanism yet? FIAT use a white grease type compound and i have had to collect then re-apply it when i'd had the panels off to grease the elec-window mechanism.
25 mins to do both doors.

I'll give it a go at the weekend. (if it's dry)

Is it an easy job? Is it obvious which bits need lubricating, etc...
