Locking nut socket needed

Hi there,

Some monkey at a tyre place has stripped the locking nut socket for my MK2 Bravo HLX. If anyone in the Walsall/Birmingham area has a functioning socket in their locking nut kit, this could be an easy way to earn a couple of beers. I just want to use the socket to replace the locking nuts with ordinary studs as I doubt anyone is looking to steal 11 year old fiat alloys.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Conrad

go to ats and ask em to get it off for you, they use an extractor socket. any tyre place should be able to do it

Thanks. It was Kwikfit who pointed out the problem and broke their socket trying to get the others studs off. I didn't think to try another tyre place. You may have just cost a BOO member some beers ;)

if its the 1 that has 3 studs in...i,well a mate broke 2 of my studs lol it just snapped as he tried to turn it.imop i dont think he had it on proper..Luckily Ant had 1 spare,£20 to get my wheels off LOL
