On the subject of bitching whats the betting that those who are moaning about the census and its place in todays society will also be the ones moaning in 10-20 years about state of public services??

You mean to say that the information used in the census will be used to gauge public services in 10 years' time?

I suppose if they were really serious about it then it just might work - if they compared the census with other databases such as work, pensions, benefits etc.
But I suspect it'll be the usual half-arsed job and we'll end up with many areas desperately under funded.

I own a few properties, I dont live at all of them.

Council tax register is the most likely list they will use.

I couldnt have put it better myself. Recently applying for a college grant, they sent me a letter saying i need to send back various documents with my financial details they supplied in the letter .... WTF?!!! They have my details, make me jump through hoops and then dont give it to me :tosser:

Anyway to the census. We have one here too my dad went ape and nearly threw it in the fire I found some questions a bit confusing and personal. Next theyll want to know how many times you use the toilet in the day and how many breaths a day you take.... :shakehead:

Completed ours earlier and took it to the post box, it didn't fit so folded it in half and shuved it in, then spent a few mins trying to get my other letters to fit but the census one was stuck just indide the opening :bang:
