I have a 2001 multipla on a Y plate and I want to connect up my own CD player.

I have the normal blaupunkt head unit, and have found the 10 disc multichanger for £169. Can I get this cheaper and can I connect any old cd changer to the head unit?

Similar question?
What is the changer supplied by manufacturer, is it the A08?
Has anyone fitted one themselves?
We can't manage with just the tape player!!!!!!!!!
Any help appreciated

Use an mp3 playwer and burn yourself a disc or two. Much better than a multichanger, cheaper and if you get a good anti skip memory all your skipping problems are gone in a foul swoop.
You will need a Fiat adapter to take the din std radio and aldi...yes aldi had some ace mp3 players in stock the other week. i know i bough and fitted one in my multi!
Check out the multi forum off the main website...

Moriarty the mundane..

if you look around on the net, you can get sony multichangers a little cheaper than the blaupunkt stock units, these usually come with an adaptor lead, but check first, you can even get MP3/WMA Changers that are compatible, otherwise get an aftermarket head unit

If anyone is taking there old blaupunkt "face off" stereo off can you sell me the fascia plate that it sits in? Mine is scaratched and I can't replace it without buying a new stereo. Thanks!

We have upgraded the Radio Cassette to an CD / MP3 / radio player. It is great, four disks to satisfy the three of us. No more rattly tapes unspooling themselves in the door pockets :)
