If you want my advise, stay well clear.

They're all too happy to take your money quickly (before it was even dispatched) but as soon as you have a problem and need to sort it out, they dont want to know. 2 emails and an unsuccessful telephone call im still in the dark as to what im supposed to do about sending back my speakers for a replacement.

They didnt send me back a reciept or invoice, so no proof of purchase, only the email confirmation.

Rang again, got passed the buck, and now i have to send back the speaker myself (They're supposed to collect and replace cos its withing 14days of purchase) for testing. Then they'll replace if they think somethings wrong (which they'll prob say i broke it so tough luck)

 So unbelievably annoyed with them right now. its gonna cost me a small fortune to send back, due to them sending me crap. Shoulda refused them (but mum was in and didnt check) cos the contents were tatty (boxes) and the polystyrene was like snow.

So bascially stay clear of them. They obvisouly send back out recons as new or take naff all care with stock. Ive usedd other places before with no trouble, and these are more trouble than its worth

Luke, direct them to this thread, it will get sorted a lot quicker. Bad press isn't something any company wants.

Sorry to hear about that luke, that really does suck...

I have been looking on there recently at the amp and sub deals. Good prices, but tbh if the after service is crap whats the point. (n)

Yeah definatley write them a quick e-mail and tell them that you have let people know about the bad service and that you wont be buying from them again... unless they sort it out fast. I did 1 to fast fiat think i put it on here somewhere. They were very fast to sort it out once they knew i had told every1 how crap they are. Also say that a friend of yours was just about to buy a particular product and you advised hime otherwide. Works a treat. (y)

i have used this company before and have had no trouble with them

you maybe just got a bad apple - if you havent done so already, quote them on there returns and faulty goods section - cause they should take it back without any problem

Well the stuff was all posted back (at a cost of a tenner hasent to add). Lets see what happens.

Although the name of the place and the postcode they gave me to send the parts to are quite a bit different - Field Design Consultants ltd. Hope thats just an old registered name otherwise im gonna go to their shop in tottenham and throw the speakers at them :p

If anyones interested, i had to send them another mail today to find out what was going on. This time i wasnt so polite either.

They tested the speakers and miraculously they found no fault  But they're sending me back a set of new ones carriage free due to me having to pay to send them back in the 1st place.

So in short, they seem to have redeemed themselves, although i still advise caution if you do have to return something. Although in fairness, it is january which means a flood of returns.

so we can stop lying now :D

I was never looking at the sub amp packages, and i think caraudiosecurity.com reasonably price their products, and other than this i have heard nothing but good things...

Reasonably priced till you check out that is ;) All prices are ex. VAT so they're about average.

Well i doubt id buy from them again, but everyone deserves a second chance. From now i think i'll stick to MCS Direct. Ordered from them umpteen times and always in good working order, packaged nicely (not like from CA&S).

Anyways, :)
