Good evening from a newbie,
My Punto Grande is an 08 plate with 38000 on the clock seems to have a flat/dead spot when setting off in first gear.
Just as you set off and press the the accelerator the car seems to die for a brief second, its annoying because you push the accelerator down more and increase the revs to get over flat spot.
Any advice Please.

Thank you

Flat spot at take off ?

The ECU doesn't react fast enough to the air amount increase and the mixture goes lean, or the mixture is already lean… I'd check (for):

- leaks in piping/manifold
- throttle body
- MAP sensor

Do you feel like the engine kind of hesitates when re-accelerating after a slow down while Driving ?

BRs, Bernie
