Technical Can't identify warning light

Hi all,

A warning light has lit up on my 2004 Fiat Punto 1.9JTD which has never activated before. I've been through my owner's manual thoroughly, but it isn't there at all - in fact the diagrams of various consoles in the book with my car doesn't actually cover the real console in my car!!

Anyhow, I wonder if anybody could help identify it. It is a symbol of a car on a slope, surrounded by a circle. I've identified it in the below pictures with an arrow.

Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

my GUESS is "Hillholder", :idea:

I've not got that..!!

personally I would remove battery power for a couple of hours, then reconnect..see if it's still there

the amount of water around - could well have got in the works..,

Ah, hillholder, hadn't thought of that! I've looked it up now that you've mentioned it, and your guess has proven correct: fiatia.com/fman-572.html

I'll have a look around once the rain stops and see whether the hillholder really is broken, and whether disconnecting the battery will do the trick.

And your other guess might very well be correct too, I drove into a large pool of water on the road the other day, I had another couple of odd warning lights come on since then too!
