Can't find an air temp sensor

Hi all, I'm new to this site and not mechanically minded so bear with me. I need to get a replacement air temperature sensor for my Grande Punto 06 1.2. I had this changed at the dealership a few years back and it seems to have gone again. The problem is I can't seem to find one on the internet or it's called something else. Can someone help me please?

It's combined with the MAP sensor on the later cars -- 4 pin sensor on the airbox.

Give eurocarcare.net a call, or Shop4Parts.

I'd not rule out a possible wiring issue -- it's a bit exposed and floppy out there.

Is it for engine intake temp. or external temp. display? In which case it's an ambient temp. sensor.

Ambient temp sensor is on the bottom of the passenger wing mirror.
If that's what you mean.

On the gp the air temp / map sensor is on the inlet manifold

See gp guides section its one screw out and unplug to replace

Also get coolent temp sensor checked as they work together and can confuse the ecu into thinking the other one is fauly

Ambient temp sensor is on the bottom of the passenger wing mirror.
If that's what you mean.

in a different thread OP has confirmed faulty sensor is engine mounted..
