Technical Can you buy a new bearing thats U S

done the front wheel bearing on sat it was still making a noise so I strip the hub off today and the new bearing got more play in it than the one I just toke off never checked it before i put it back on the car what do you think the chances off getting new bearing thats nackered

It happens, new parts can be faulty, or can fail very quickly. Never with a wheel bearing with me though. It is possible to damage the bearing when pressing into the hub if you do not support the inner race, it can separate from the outer race. Usually a socket is used to do this.

the bearing has not split just lots of play on it my local garage pressed it in for me got a new one order when i go to the shop tomorrow will take the hub with me see what they say
