You definitely got me convinced. 700E is not so much to spend considering you will be gaining that money back in 5 or 6 months anyway, then it's half price in everything. :)

If they put one of those containers that cannot break in case of an accident then I know what my next present to myself will be. :p

They told me the containers have been tested to some hundreds of times atmospheric pressure and held that way for couple of hours. The LPG is stored at only 3/4 Atm. They said there are safety valves which won't let it explode and release the pressure in small increments in case of a fire. If the line going from the boot to the engine or the one to the filler gets torn the system shuts down and closes the tank valves. But as they say the rest of the car will be long gone before the bottle receives any damage in an accident. Here is some information I read before I converted: http://www.go-lpg.co.uk/AboutLPG.html My only advice is to choose some renown equipment like BRC or Landi Renzo (y) You'll always leave the fuel station with a smile having paid 16 Euro for 350kms instead of 37E for the same ammount of petrol. You can extend your oil change intervals by 5000kms as LPG does not dillute the oil and produces mainly just CO2 and water. Sorry for the offtopic again...

"Advice for you to Consider

1. LPG is less potent than petrol. As a result, your car will return around 15% less mpg per gallon or litre. " :p
Yes your car will always burn more LPG than petrol for the same performance. I get an avarage of ~8.6l per km, which I find great considering it's a 1.6 on a MW :) And I am not driving economically since I've installed it, cause it's so cheap. Petrol engines can burn 5 and 15l/km depending on how you push it :) I've never calculted how much petrol it burns but I've seen the body computer showing everything from 5.0 to 12.0 :)

I want one! :) I've towed a car once and it wasn't struggling, I imagine it would pull that one pretty well.. Are these rims original fiat?

The caravan is amazing. It's got everything actually. Hot/cold water, power outlets, charger, fridge and freezer, kitchen with gas, toilet, 4 beds, and lots of storage.

And yes, the rims are original Fiat. The picture is from April, so the car's still got winter tires on 15" OEM multispokes. Now its on 17" Fiat Blades, and is looking much better. (y)
