Well, I swopped my GPS for this:

It's a 2007 Alfa Romeo Brera 2.4 JTDm SV 210bhp. Comes with a few goodies: Leather interior, Blue&Me, climate control, cruise control and a panoramic glass roof. The wheels were painted anthracite by the dealer.

Not got much planned for this one (although I have said that before) however, the engine is great. One of the best sounding diesel engines available, 5 pot warble is cool.

Cheers.

It does feel faster, but in a different way. Acceleration isn't as urgent, but it pulls all the way from 1800rpm to 4500rpm. It's almost like a turbo petrol in that way, with a much larger rev band available. Will I remap it? Who knows. One side of me thinks it would be cool to have a 265bhp coupe that can still do 40mpg on motorways, but I'm not sure how it would affect the handling. I'm not sure I fancy all that power through the front wheels without a LSD.

The major difference is the quality of the interior, it's one of the nicest interiors in it's class.

I had a chance at the dealer to swop for the 18" wheels for £100 a corner, but the tyres weren't in great condition and with prices around £200 a corner, I decided to stick with the 17"s. The dealer painted them anthracite for free :)
