General buying a new radio and password prob

ok im thinking of buying a new radio/cd for my marea but are they easy to change in the marea cos looking at the style it seems well awkward as it seems like its built in with the dash also

ive posted this in tech but im really stuck so

Today my fuse blew in my 98 R Marea si it reset my radio, i have the code 0271 and i know how to enter the numbers onto the screen but i cant enter the code once the numbers are on screen, its the original radio so is there anyone around who could help

You'll need a blanking plate which costs about a tenner before you can fit an aftermarket stereo.

Have a look at www.bravo-guide.co.uk, I know it's for the Bravo/a but it's relevant for this question.

Not sure about the code, I'm sure someone will know.

Yes, Halfords stock them from time to time. There is also a link from the bravo guide to buy one online. The one online is better quality.
