I would hope that Longleat, and all similar attractions would have procedures in place for such events.
The lions are likely to keep away from the fire.
As an mpv, it was probably diesel, so less likely to explode.
I'd hope other cars in the convoy would pick them up.

Overall, probably a lot less frightening than the paper report makes out.
 
According to the report I read it was all dealt with very calmly. The family were put in a rangers vehicle and moved from the enclosure and the lions were moved into another enclosure. I would say the biggest danger would have been from all the rubber neckers taking videos to put on YouTube.

My daughter was mainly upset that she’d left her phone in the car.
I'm just glad her kids were taught the priorities of life... :rolleyes:
