I just ordered BT broadband and the package comes with a router that has 1 usb connection and 1 ethernet connection. I need to know can you get an adapter or somthing that will turn it into 2 ethernet connections.
It is a Router/ modem which you can connect 2 computers 2 at one time. One is connected by usb and the other is by ethernet. It is alot easier if I can connect computers by ethernet thats all.
If it is a router (would be unusual, I haven't seen any that support USB and ethernet simulataneously as there's no call for it normall), just buy a switch/hub and plug it in.
If it isn't a router, buy a router...wireless or wired.
I have a wireless router and an NTL broadband box and i have to plug the Broadband into the wireless then share the connection. Tried to plu usb and ethernet in at the same time as your suggesting but it doesnt quite work. It kinda cuts one of them off.
