Possibly because I drive a brand new ev, but the newer fists headlights are like two Dave’s lamps, are there any brighter bulbs without charging to LED - I’m not even averse to that, just a like for like bulb swap would be….easier?

I tried the Philips X-Treme Vision and the comparable Osram (forgot the name). They offer much more light, but they don't last very long and they are triple the price.
I now have Philips Ultinon LED's. That improved light output but they are still no comparison to factory LED headlights in more modern cars.

Davy lamps, I think? :)

Extra brightness bulbs do provide usefully more light - I have Philips somethings in ours (paid c£18 from Eurobotherers), they've lasted 9 months so far, and I'd replace if they blew as standard bulbs really are very dim indeed. Don't get me wrong, you're not going to be going rallying in the pitch black with them, but they're worthwhile.

I put Philips bulbs in mine shortly after buying it in 2013 - they're still working. Much brighter and whiter. I've been wanting to fit a couple of driving lights to enhance the illumination in darker areas but can't find a satisfactory way to mount them. 🙃

I use these https://www.powerbulbs.com/product/philips-x-tremevision-pro150-h7-twin

They are better and life is OK I feel that as the car ages its possible the earthing gets worse so light output decreases as dose light colour

Note if the car has projector style lights these are considered poorer vs the older type, however they maybe able to be converted to HID

Leds are a option in the UK
Not road legal and a MOT failure if seen

Yes Davy lamps, my iPad also corrected fiats to fists….😆

500 and Panda lights are too small. Panda 169 has less effective bulbs but brighter lights. The reflectors are a bit bigger. Noops lights (Panda 319)are actually OK on dry roads but on wet ones they are U/S. ThePanda sufferes from ineffective lights due to the pre set aim. If low beam is set right, high bean is too high and the road is badly lit If the lights are lowered the main beam is fine but dip is dangerous. Panda needs additional dip beam driving lights. 500 likely similar. Maybe due to Italian need being different.

You don't want 5" lights, you want 9"
Yeah-nah - I'd need a 'roo bar to mount 'em on mate... 🙃
