i drive a fiet brava. just went for a drive and applied the brakes and the brake pedal went straight to the floor and had little impact on the braking. any suggestions

Your brake fluid level is? Your pad thickness is?

Has been known for master cylindres to fail, could be a pipe or hose bulging, dont drive the car until its fixed .....

where about are the mastercylinders located? Had pads, discs, pipes, fitted at the last mot in may.

Its under the bonnet by the bulkhead where you check the brake fluid monthly...
