BP Ultimate etc in Fiat?

Ive been using BP Ultimate in my Punto for the last 2 or 3 weeks, feels like theres a wee bit of a difference, but the question I want to ask is does it actually help in a wee car like a 1.2 8v punto? its 6p a litre more

Is it actually helping the car interms of being better for the engine etc?

Will clean engine a little yes, will it help performance? very unlikely.

Apparently its gets you more miles to the tank only know cos i work in a petrol station part time!

Ive noticed, maybe a bit better mpg, the question really isnt about performance, I know the limits of a wee 60hp engine and I never tried ultimate to try get better performance, just want to look after the engine a bit more, does ultimate really help mpg and the engine etc? or is that just marketing crap

It's a good quality petrol that will clean your engine. I doubt you'll find any performance increase in such a small size engine though. I would use it all the time but can't afford to Tesco 99 gives you the best bang for your buck.
Anyone read the petrol tests in Evo? interesting reading.
