Hi to all,

I'm visiting Tuscany this summer and I rented a Fiat 500 1.2 auto. Will my suitcase which will be around 20kg and measures 75cm (L) 50cm (W) and 30 cm (H) fit in the boot (of course with back seats down)??

Thanks for your responses.

From memory with any sizeable suitcase, I always ended up dropping one of the split rear seats which is standard on the Lounge model.
Alternatively, if you were parked you may be able to loosen the rear seats on the latch so that the hatch closes but it's still out of sight.

With the seat backs released and pushed forward, yes. With the seats in position, propably not.

Edit: The issue (with the seats in position) is that the seat backs slope backwards and the hatchback slopes forward, so the boot is effectively triangular. The "boot cover" is about 10cm wide, so anthing that is any significant height needs to be very narrow.

My samsonite does fit and its a big one that you can put up to 25 kgs of stuff in. In addition i can fit a laptop bag in it along with the samsonite before not fitting anything more.
As a comparison, in my friends Mini Cooper S, i had to take the seats down to fit the same Samsonite.
