My boot light is gone.I checked the light and it is ok but it doesn't work.The same happened with the steering wheel buttons.Is it possible that those 2 incidents have to do with me having HID's and an mp3 connected through aux?

this is spinny but ive just noticed i have no boot light, did i ever have one.. ive lost my steering wheel controls due to changing head unit. a funny five minutes, im pickled..
boot light is controlled by boot switch...
are you sure bulb is ok (test with multimeter)
are you getting 12v+ at bulb holder?

ill check at lunch tomorrow. i cant even recall having one,. proper PICKLED me when i read this thread, infact i gotta go out and look now

I didn't know that! Where is that located?The light is fine btw.
in the boot catch mechanism.....
take the boot catch out by removing 2 bolts (one either side of the catch)
((immsmc you need to take the boot card off (one screw and pull carefully)
