Im happy to go slightly north for a carvery that is that price!!!
Yes it may be slightly out the way, but it's supposed to be a good pub/carvery, and unless anyone has any major problems with location, then it'll stay where it is.
It's just a shame that no one seems to be really bothered about coming, except for a select few!!!

I spent years working on a saturday, and it's only when I changed my job about 6 months ago that I got a proper weekend!!

Im doing my 1st ever mon-fri 9-5 job..... i miss my last job lots, but I only got 1 day off a week and that was a tuesday.
I think saturday is a great day to go out for some grub as sunday is spoons farmhouse breafast day

Nice easy meet as it's only a few hours you have to put up with me!!!!

Nice to see the select few again. Thanks to Jay, for bringing the wings...and then taking them back again, ( it's official, Marea wings do not fit into the boot of a Bravo).
The carvery was a bargain, just wished I had a chance to sample the puddings
The kids enjoyed it and were suprisingly well behaved on the 180 mile round trip!
Quick stats:

average speed, 50 mph.
Total time, 3hrs 40 mins driving.
Rat is back on the road... New bits coming soon!

Thats ok Buzz.... I didn't expect any1 to drive over 315miles to the meet..... so you were outside the expected distance.
I also didn't realise how many people work on a saturday, make apple pie's with their granny, take their monthly bath, deliver meals on wheels, take their neighbours parrot to the vets and their bravo to suddenly stop working!!
I hope everyone had a great day whatever they were doing and hopefully everything will be sorted for the next BOO meet
