Just been searching for an Induction Kit for a sei sprting on the net and came across these BMC Air Filters, they claim to give you more bhp ranging from a 3 to 15.

Are they work the money or should I just stick with the normal kits.

Check out this link to read it

I would say that they're very good, but probably not worth the money! I have one on my 98R Sei Sporting, and there's a real increase in torque (right from 1500rpm), flat spots are gone and it breathes much easier higher up the range. Looks the absolute nuts too.

However, performance per £ I guess isn't that great. Boomy on motorway hills too...

Cheers,
Darren

I might have to save up for one of these then, i'll make do with the standard airbox for the time being, I might even try to fit my old Uno induction kit onto it.

Cheers

Hi...

I’m thinking on Ractive air filters with a steel induction pipe added to a silicone 90º Turn…

What do you think about it?

i have a K&N induction kit fitted and love it to bits

as far as performance per £ goes - lets be honest when you start with 54Bhp you take all the extra you can get ;)

One more thing, which is the exterior diameter of the plenum?
The ractive filter interior diameter is 3” our 76 mm I probably have to use a silicone redactor in the end of the induction pipe to connect it to the plenum, it is true!!!
