ok am new to here and dont know a great deal about cars so a little help would be nice!

i hear people talking about blue and me and media players in there cars, but how would i know if i could conect my ipod to my car?

i have a 07 plate GP Dynamic so how would i know

any help would be nice thanx!

Easiest way is to check if one of your steering wheel buttons as a phone symbol on it. Or open the glove box and see if there is a visable USB port with a Windows logo on it

well i have neither of those i dont think!

does it not come as standard?

Only comes as standard on the new series 2 models (2008 onwards I think) so looks like you haven't got it I'm afraid :(

its not a problem that i dont have it i just need a way to connect my ipod up! its a touch one! any suggestions, but i want a decent one! where the wires are hidden and a nice holder on the dash or somthing! was thinking about nipping to halfords next time am near and getting one put it, will tat work?

really, oh, so what ipod would work, looks like i may need to buy a new ipod as well!

FM transmitters work but the sound quality is pretty bad.

Another option it to make an aux lead (see guides) that would plug into the headphone port. Means you have to change track etc on the ipod (a no no when on the move).

Finally get another iPod (shuffle, nano or classic) and get the iPod connection kit. That's the most expensive option.

I have an itrip at the moment in my Fiesta and it works really well. May not be great if you travel long distances though as you'd need to change the frequency.

thanx for the above comments, and i will look into either getting a cheap little nano and the "ipod kit" does this come with a cradle? acuallly i have a old classic, but the battery aint great, but would this matter? does the "ipod kit" charge the ipod while in the car?
