Blue and Me Text Message Reader

As some of you may know I previously had a 1.2 Active Air Con, and today got a 1.9 mjet (07 Plate) specced to the brim, the guy hasnt done any updates etc. and I have updated the blue and me, however can the sms reader be added, if so where can I locate the file.

Hi, as far as Im aware the SMS reader should be enabled once your phone is paired with 'Blue & Me'....
...however, only certain phone models support SMS reader and the other features that are available.

Try the link below and click on the model of phone you have. A pop-up will appear with the supported features and pairing tips etc

Wouldn't count on SMS Reader working.
It seems it only works with specific non-windows mobile & non-android Sony Ericsson mobiles.

hi guys ,i am from vancouver b.c i have just bought my 2012 fiat 500. i am having a problem with blue&me msg reader . i have blackberry bold 9700. it seems doesn't work with my phone.:bang: can anyone tell me what to do plz !!!

Congrats to your 500! You must be among the first 500 owners in Canada. Unfortunately, Blue&Me message reader doesn't work with Blackberry phones. Most of the Sony Ericsson, older Motorola and the new Windows Phone 7 works with it.

Just come accross this Thread and wanted to bump it.
I too have had the update for Blue n Me and can access the Message Reader on the cars system , my phone is paired fine for everything else, but it will not work with the Message reader, just says no messages, and there are ....

I have an Apple Iphone 4 (not listed on the compatability sheet)
anyone got any NEW phones to work woth this message reader system ?

...the new Windows Phone 7 works with it.

As far as I know that's the newest phone (actually the OS) that works with the Message Reader. Android, iOS, and Symbian phones do not work with it.
