My car is Black at the mo, can't be bothered with cleaning until about March when they stop gritting.

As far as the colour grit goes, I thought it still makes cars dirty? And I don't think they're using cheaper grit, it just might be all they can get from the quarry places, or they might be digging at another sedimentary level.

got up to 30 and drove thought a big puddle

mines just really dirty on one side from where i had to drive on a grassy verge and wheelspun a little bit

doesnt look to bad though.

and the rear is clean from where i debadged yesterday, but the front is dirty.

Well my brakes are completely f**ked (covered in black s**t off the roads). I haven't drove my car for few days, went out in it today to find out I had naff all braking power pulled over got out and my disks, and pads were covered in black c**p.

They started to get better after 10miles or so but not as good, now there all rusty and the disks are scored :bang: I know they were cheap disks but thats taking the p**s.

I like it, I normally use the 'Christ' Car was at Sainbury's and use the best wash (£5) and it does all of the Chasis which is good.

Neither would I but the brakes were perfect a week ago and im sure there must be some meat left on the pads . about time I replaced them anyway .

went to North Yorkshire on sunday and the car came home clean except for the mud off the bikes

yeah, it really did lash it down here

i dont mind heavy rain to be honest, at least then i can adjust the windscreen wipers to suit the rain.

its when its lightly spitting that it gets annoying, as the wipers wipe a near enough dry screen every 7/8 secs
