yeah cars are all dirty as f£$% latly. One of the local cruises coppers were going round with a cloth and cleaning the number plates and issuing fines, tbh some of the cars a saw looked filthy. I mean i know the black salt is to blame but who would let their car get in such a state? You could not read the plates of most of them
Daz what car have you got I can clean my old mans focus estate in less than 20 mins (and that is huge compared to my GP) get a coat on its not that cold.
Been a yorkshire lad you must have a Boyes near by you can get a chenille wash mit for about £2 a bottle of cheap car shampoo (dont use washing up liquid) and a couple of buckets... and if you really want to push the boat out a cheap silicone Hydroblade.

but mine was clean when i left my house yesterday morning, but half way through the journey you could not see my numberplate or headlights
Only way I can keep the car clean is to be in front of the other cars. Otherwise I'm going through a bottle of screen wash per journey.

ive filled mine everyday since they started gritting
This black salt is not nice took the car on the annual tour around the relatives about 400 miles in total mostly motorway and A road, by the time i got home I could hardly see out of the side windows on the GP for the grime.
in fact it was so bad the kids even decided to give up there pocket money rather than wash the car

I nearly had a head on today thanks to the slippy roads and a stupid old woman
I was going down residential road, and only just turned into the road, so probably going about 20-ish mph. Residents were parked on one side of the road (not my side) I was going through and this stupid old bag a car and a half in front of me, (who had been parked up) just flew straight out of her parking space and onto my side of road....guess she never learnt creep and peep.
I emergency stopped, my wheels locked up and i started skidding towards her, so released and managed to steer in and turn away....and ended up having to ditch it to the kerb
Result....One black Team Dynamic with a chunk out of it and which was black is now white
She said sorry tho....and I didn't even have a go at her, cos she was so shaken ...Merry blinking Xmas Surrey County Council..thanks :bang:

anyone know if its more corrosive than the normal stuff?

Well I just washed mine with 2 weeks worth (750miles) of dirt and s**t and it took me 90minutes and 4 buckets of water......
And a lot of swearing and mumbling about cost cutting councils
