As per title.
Come across Autodoc, a couple of times when looking for bits, not only the Fiats, but the Hyundai i10, but to date not purchased from them.
Been using 'carpartsinmotion' on e-bay, and must say they are very good.
But have been looking for bits for the hyundai, and see Autodoc have some, and they are a bit cheaper than others, ( towbar, £127 inc free delivery, elsewhere £160+ delivery ) just wondered if they were any good?
Have any members used them, and if so, any good reviews.?

Used them a few times, fine if you don’t mind waiting a bit longer for your parts, they also have a bit of a habit of substituting parts for different makes without informing you. Just make sure you pay the extra for the free returns if you’re in any doubt

50/50
I’ve had substituted parts that don’t fit, for example a jaguar xj bottom hose instead of a jeep Cherokee xj one, apparently my fault even though you have to put your vehicle details into their search. But I’ve also had competitively priced oil and filters from them.
If I can get stuff more easily from local or GGB/S4P I go there first

Do this, for sure. Their parts finder isn't infallible and it's a royal pain to argue the toss and then send stuff back without it.

Yeah I figured it was simpler just to keep the part and I ordered a new one through local factors…SAS…not that I’ll be using them again as they’ve been bought out and prices have risen, so much for economies of scale

I did similar with a front suspension arm - which I then sold on eBay because it was simply less hassle. There are things that I'd consider using them for though, like the unobtainium electronically-controlled struts for the XC70, for instance.

Wehn daughters cross headlight got smashed I trawled AD website and they, at the time, had stock. Ordered and paid for only to get a message two days later to say id been refunded. No explanation so went back on site to see it had been updated to ‘out of stock’ buyt they had lhd ones…they didn’t!
Eventually got a used LHD one and baked the lens off and refuted it to old lamp unit

Yup, there's a few on line people I trust, like S4p, Opie, Powerenhancer, Cox Motor Parts and specific others but mostly now a days I buy from local factors. Many purchases are same as, or so close to, web prices as makes no never mind but, very occasionally, I find I've lost out by a small amount and I'm happy at that when I think of the time saved and convenience of purchasing locally.

do not rely on entering reg number and system offering correct parts. You have to select what is correct from what pops up. Then check via autodoc chat system using your vin to confirm it is correct. If they confirm it will fit and it does not they should pay return postage. Paying the extra for free returns regardless of reason for return is great advice.

Tell them via chat to note your account not to substitute any items on your order for other brands..... Very important.

I have used them several times with success. Including returns when required.

Check tow bar not in their "bulky" category exempting it from free delivery
Have already messaged them regarding 'compatability' giving VIN, reg, etc, and also whether it actually came under their 'bulky items' list, as I didn't want unexpected 'added costs'. Re delivery times, not that worried, just thought it would be useful addition, as have a towbar mounted bike rack for the multipla, and would be useful to use on the i10 if i had the towbar.
Will wait and see what their reply is. If they say it's correct fit and free delivery, and it's not correct, then they've made the cock up, not me! (and can pay for the return!!)
