Okay,so I use BikeBins on one of my bikes.
waterproof and lockable.
handy
however I want to secure them to the bike, but leave the option of removal.
(a pair were recently stolen in Edinburgh, but thankfully the thieves were intercepted nearby)
so looking at the rear. there are the holes by the blue catches.
that panel is removable
I can run a bolt in one of the holes and remount.
my idea is attach wires with loop ends/cable ends??
like this,but obviously much smaller
so one end is attached to the bike bin and the other end is loose with a loop.
4 wires with loops, slipped onto a padlock on the panner rack.
the bikebin is plastic and the rack is simply bolted to the bike.
so if someone wants the bin, they will get it
I just want to make it trickier than simply unclipping them.
so anyone got a better idea. know where I can get short looped wires(or make them?) etc?
