Hi Guys!

Got myself into yet another pickle... :(

Bravo 1.6 is off the road at the moment - injectors gone. Chucking it on the diagnostics doovery this week to find out which one thats gone but I have been quoted £370 to get it fixed. :'(

Their quote for the injector itself was £118. Does anyone know anywhere I could get it cheaper because we're all pulling together for the credit crunch? :D

Bearing in mind that this is on the basis that I can get the part without having to learn how to be a mechanic first, or pillaging it from another vehicle.... :S

I will love you forever :)

If i wasnt 250+ miles away I would happily come and sort it out for you.
You can easily test injectors using a multimeter, test the resistance of each one.

all should be approx 16.5ohms, any that are less than 13ohms should be replaced.

You will get replacements cheap at a scrappy for id guess a fiver. Test them the same way before buying.

Shop4parts do them ebay will probably have some and theres always your local motorfactors but scrapyard will easily be cheapest.

If i tested it myself is there any chance i could blow up? :p lol. I wouldn't risk it.... my garage said they'd test them for free anyway, and said i could get the part if i wanted to..
