Hi,
103,000 Miles.
Q: Does the Fiat 4 door typically have a spare tire in the back ?
A: Assume no, i can't see any space in the back trunk area. We received a kit that I suppose if a tire goes flat we install on the valve stem and it "temporarily inflates with foam and seals it for 100 miles" Does that sounds normal for these fiat's ?
---------------------------------------------
Q: We have no history on Transmission (9 speed i believe) and we are 103,000 miles. Should we do a pan drop , filter change and replace the fluid? Assume so. We are only experiencing slightly hard 4-5 shifts when engine is cold. No history on car. Once engine warmed up shifting is smooth. can't check level of fluid or condition that I'm aware of? Or can i pull a plug from under the hood looking down and dip something in the hole to extract some fluid for inspection? ALSO MUST WE USE THE MOPAR fluid?
A: Assume yes to new filter and replace fluid for good measure? Assume no to ability to check fluid level/condition from above? Assume no to fluid manufacture, any shop that uses their mobile1 or whatever should be just fine?
----------------------------------------------
Q: What other fluid exchanges should we do just so we are up to speed?
A: Brake fluid and anything else after we do transmission?
