Hi Guys

Just thought I'd ask before tackling it myself. Does anyone know the best way of removing the bonnet badge (old style) and the boot lid badges??
Also are they just adheared or do they have pegs through the panels?

Cheers peeps

bonnet badge has a 10mm nut underneath it, have a look up onto the panel with the bonnet lifted.

boot lid, you will have to carefully unpeel them, then you will need to get rid of the sticky leftovers [ooh err!!], I used a portable steamer to do mine, and also a bit of petrol on a rag, be careful though - once you scrape the paint it will never be the same again.

the guide only covers the rear not the front.

The sei is also a screw type badge.

Disagree on the 'paint never looking the same' T-cut or similar will bring ther paint back to life

bonnet badges need to be welded up,

the rears will come off with a hairdryer and like has been aid if there is a difference in the paint colour then some cutting compound and a mop will sort it(y)

I'm putting on another badge in it's place. It's 25mm x 40mm. Will this cover the hole left by the peg on the mk1 Sei bonnet badge? Don't need to weld or fill if it will.
Cheers for all the info.

(out of interest, is it glued as well as pegged?)
