General Seicento fuel tank removal

Hi all,

My Sei needs welding on the near side rear sill, but to save setting myself and the car alight the petrol tank has to come out first!

Is anyone able to give me any tips/advice on how to take it out & re-fit please?

In general terms, best removed when fuel low as a light lighter to lift etc.
Spray all the nuts and bolts holding it up, I assume car on stands or ramps safely.
slacken /remove filler hose and clips.
Ideally support fuel tank on a padded jack.
No naked flames etc.
Remove nuts/bolts .
Lower jack and hopefully tank if not rusted into place a few inches or until you can gain access to fuel pipes and wires etc. at sender unit/pump if fitted.
After all pipes and wires removed lower the rest of the way whilst supporting so it doesn't fall off jack.
